Carbon booms

Just wanting to know average life span of cabon wave boom I got approximately 3yrs till today .

Have a 16 year old NP X9 still doing OK. A 10 yera old Maui Sails Carbon slalom boom that's seen heavy use and still doing OK. And finally a 4 year old Dynafiber and a couple of simmer carbon wave booms bought used from a Simmer pro rider. All doing fine.

For me carbon booms are a no-brainer. Better performance and way way better durability and by that also safer.

Main issues have been boom clips that brake over time and need replacing. And of course Maui Sails booms had the absolute worst grip - but have regripped the boom and now its fine.

In one brand I think about two seasons if you are hard on it...

In another brand I had, seems forever.

^^Yeh its had a pretty hard life , pretty dissapointed with 3yrs !
