Dick and Jane were the subject of a series of popular books back in the era when people were into that sort of stuff. Growing up in the spotlight is difficult and Dick and Jane were no different to most celebrity children. Dick developed a nasty cocaine habit and Jane became addicted to Krispy Kreams. They had some brief success with a Dick and Jane clothing range though a teeshirt printed “Dick loves Jane, Jane loves Dick” was banned in Ireland and Nigeria.
