I don't know much about spacers but I was thinking do lighter sailors need less spacers to help the sails rotate easier? Compared to heavyweight riders who can have more for more batten tension and power?
Absolutely. When I have bought sails from top male sailors I have had to take out quite a few spacers before I can even flip the cams over.
Mm will have to have a look at my sails then.I have a few that are hard to rotate.
I've got one coming that's set up for RDM too so will have to change it to suit my SDM masts.
