Elmo was used to having a hand inside him, but by the look of GI Joe's face, Elmo thought he meant to use another body part.
He-Man was a success in the 1980's, Tickle Me Elmo was a great success in the 1990's, but the "He-Man Red Freckle Pounder" twin set - not so much
Elmo was having second thoughts about being the mascot for the next Mardi Gras parade
Given his later fame, it is obvious Elmo didn't hide behind the casting couch for very long at all...

It only took him a second to realise but Elmo's life was never the same again after seeing where GI Joe had glued Mr. Snuffleupagus's nose.

Tickle Me Elmo was never the same after the "Free Testicles" typo went to print.
When he got home, GI Joe thought he could hear Jane giggling behind the couch. It wasn't until he was already stripped off did he realise that there was also another laugh there and what Jane was really saying was 'tickle me...., Elmo'.
Being the last one left at the party, things got weird when Ken came out undressed and said 'tackle me Elmo'.

Just as a note, I'd love to see how many people use red thumbs in this comp, and do these people only use red thumbs? The green thumbs have been all over the place, from being bright green one night and hardly any green thumbs the next.
I always thought it was the caption you liked the most not the captions that you hated the least.
No wonder Laurie put in a limit to how many red thumbs you can give in one go. I must admit that I have red thumbed caption comp captions once or twice but only if they are in really poor taste/offensive.
At worst case, using red thumbs doesn't tell anyone who liked the captions the most, it just tells us there are some angry people out there.
