Just came across these. Anybody heard about the quality and performance as they're competitively priced although don't think they have distribution outside Europe atm.

They are made in Slovenia and I believe are the guys who purchased all the Triana equipment and process when they went belly up. They do OEM mast for some brands.

Thanks Martin. Any idea which brands are manufactured by CAAS.
Also they confirmed international postage for 3 masts to oz around €50 or $75aud (very reasonable imo) Have asked some additional queries on pricing, bend curve characteristics etc. Will post additional info when available.

Hi,

I have a CAAS wave mast, which is rebranded by my mate. It is very strong and both of us have had no issues, he has sold lots in europe.

In fact I need a new 490 and will probably be getting one from CAAS to replace my old Fibrespar.

Hi,
I had a caas mast ( 400) and had no Problems. Used ezy wave sail with it. That was back in Dahab and lot of guys used them in pretty rough conditions. That was few years ago.

Feedback from CAAS below. Pricing is still as per their website.

Our standard bend curve is CC ( bottom 64% - top 76%)
FT and HT are also available.
We producing for example RDM C 100 ULTRA masts with FT for [brand removed]*

About prices……… we have stable prices, and don´t change them often.

*I have removed the brand as Martin has alluded to above, I suspect with commercial in confidence agreements it's probably best not to post on a public forums.
