I'm new to the sport, love all kinds of water sport, used to swim competitively, now into kayaking and kicking it into Windsurfing. Can someone pls advise on good websites where can get a good set of 2nd hand gear as I get used to this lifestyle. Any advice would do,what is a fair price for a beginner set, any brands good for beginners....:) appreciate your advice....

Get some lessons first, your instructor will be a good source of info, there are often good deals on here and gumtree

Do what Von suggests and either get lessons or find someone who can teach you and loan you some gear. Have a budget of $1k to $1.5k to get a good quality learning board/sail/rig and then you'll spend $200 to $500 per sail for second hand sails as you progress and need more power. What's your location? People may be able to point you in the direction of some lessons.

I agree, you should take several lessons first. This is a very difficult sport to achieve successfully. You would need to learn by someone who knows how to windsurf well. Good luck!

Or you could buy a kite and leave the past behind or well beneath you.

Why would he want hang around under a giant pair of womens underpants all day, when he can have way more fun, go faster and be 100 times cooler by windsurfing instead of tea bagging?
