Prepare to be roasted..
I don't know if it's because blokes are more conservative colourwise but all these black , blue and green boards and sails do nothing for me.![]()
They might look ok on the beach but if you want zap on the water try a yellow or orange or red board / sail..![]()
Yes I know I have a blue sail in my profile pic but I bought it during Covid and there wasn't any other choice.
Back in the 80s I had this custom slalom board made.

Looking at these pics I'd probably have more red/ orange on it these days. ![]()
Even the fin was colour co ordinated ( that wasn't planned).
I think dark sails looks pretty good, especially with a bright colour board but as long as it's not purple I really don't care what colours are around.
Admittedly dark sails are certainly less visible when in the water and I noticed how much of a difference it makes when a rider is wearing a white or bright colour helmet. They are so much better visible when IN the water (eg after wipe out). Helps a lot when you're sailing winter storms with mates to keep an eye out for each other.
Colour is alive and well in the Gorge. If you look good...you are good.![]()

Very nice ![]()
but as long as it's not purple
Wow, I have something in common with the Olympic track athletes, happy to be running on purple ![]()
Long live the Pryde!
