have fun!
I'm looking at this stuff;
www.blackwoods.com.au/gasket-material-packing-seals/gasket-sheeting-non-asbestos-cork/cork-bonded-neoprene-and-nitrile/cork-neoprene-1270x762x1-60mm-np50-elect/p/05250305
Comes in 0.8mm thickness as well as this 1.6mm. It doesn't come longer though so will require a join
.
About $20 for the sheet.

I am trying french whipping, will let you know how it goes. It's not delicious cream or deranged flagellation btw

Trying a new skill and getting a good result first time is always fun.
I only wish I had as much success with gybing.
I got very sneaky and lazy...I only re-grip the front hand and back-hand portions, as well as the short lengths where the harness lines hang off. The curvy section where my hands rarely used, I left them bare !

Great idea so I had a look around for a good French whipping. While the wife was out.
Looks like a stable arrangement and the instructions are clear and simple....what could possibly go wrong?
Nice idea..I'm going to give it a try but I suspect that my effort won't look neat and tidy like that!
