I am doing a boom grip replacement, I am considering painting measurement stripes like the original. What sort of paint would be suitable? How is the original done?
I used a white permanent marker on a black re-grip. I topped up the marks every 6 months as they slowly got worn out but it worked well.
The fabric and vinyl paint (really a dye I guess) from Supercrap or Repoffco
VHT would be the best one.
But hard to do light over dark of course.
