I've been trying all over to get some eva boom grip material to re-grip an RSX boom. Anybody know where I can get some in decent lengths?

it's called 'splice' material here and come in various colours and thickness and is the same material used in booms. About $1 aussie dollar for a 1 x 2mtr. spread

SHQ in Vic sell Genuine NP EVA Re-Grip complete with textured areas, integrated logos etc. They look great. I think about $45 from memory.

My brother lives in Manila - it would be great if I could point him in the right direction to get some for me (and others)

Just be aware that there are different densities in this material and the soft stuff may not be th best on a boom.

From memory the stuff i got from Surfsail was pre cut to the right size. It's not an easy job to get it on right. Do a search, there is a tutorial somewhere on the web.

I've done a few before, relatively successfully, the main problem here is getting hold of the material to do it with. I got some from Ian at Sails & Windsurfing, but with the amount of time Eamon spends sailing he tends to chew boom grip up fairly quickly.
