There were some people drowned in Lake Macquarie a year or so ago - tinnie overturned. I was unenthused re sailing for a while. They turned up somewhere that I sail at another time of year..

This year, we had a guy drop dead while fishing for shellfish at the local beach, and the shop guy had to fish him out of the water. Could have been worse - few years back, someone got killed and chopped up into bits and the head washed up on the beach. Last year, after a storm, got a bit of a fright when I found duffel bag with what appeared to be a head in too, but turned out to be a only a wig and pair of shoes.
Someone was murdered near the wife's work too, just last month.
