First thought was how many holes can somebody put in one board and still use it. The pics really don't show how ugly it was
It was pretty ordinary..... but solid enough to fix up
Found a few voids due to inserts put in on a hot day - BIG voids - so a board repairer in Hawaii needs the sack, and rattle can silver doesn't hide much lol but anyway:

Thankyou Mathew for the donor board that supplied replacement inserts etc. The only usable things on it lol
Your Starboard now rests peacefully in Gero tip.

Nah not for me Richard, probably to be a loan board. I rarely get on my 90L, current quads 90, 104 and 118L

Sean its Hydroturf comes in a square metre for jetskis. Bit thin, I put extra EVA from a yoga mat under the centre so its mega squishy

Sin, still same weight but there was some previous slightly heavy fills so it might be a few hundred grams over factory now

And yeah Anita the masking was a mongrel, but paint shop fluffed up the mix so on the bottom it is close but on the top it ain't. Too bad - sow's ear and all

so chasing a cheap quad fin set or at least a pair of cheap 13's............... anyone?

nah dumping boards is free in Gero they grow on trees

There was enough water in it to grow a fair few trees too

I can't believe how bad the condition of that board was. Great work in bringing it back from oblivion.

Mark,

Can I ask what resins fillers primers and paint you used? I have a Mistral IMCO that needs a similar bit of love. I think the IMCOs are ABS? Did you cover any of the dings with glass matt or just use filler? What does everyone use to stick on the foot pads? Quickgrip?

Nice job Mark looks like the simmer board is nearly back to its former glory. Your lawn looks like it needs some T.L.C.
