I was trying to find a board rack for my sailboard & mal to fit on the roof of my Fiat Ducato motorhome. I am using normal board racks at the moment but require a ladder to get the boards up & down, I was hoping to find some simple system which would enable the boards to be loaded & then raised onto the roof. If anyone knows of something that would do the job I would appreciate it
Never seen anything like that, seems everyone puts up with the climb
Racks on the side (like you'd have on garage wall) or standing up on rear bumper (if they're not too long)?
l know Rhino have brought out a roof topper lift saw a guy loading his tinnie with one onto his cruiser.they are available as a rear or side lift version .
As a shortie, I used a Thule hullivator for my hobie kayak on the SUV. Great system as it was hydraulic assisted.

Problem might be the height..... it is designed to lift only about 50-70cm then swing over. The 100cm extension might barely be enough.
The one used for dinghies will have toe swing out 3x as far to the rear so as to lift up to motorhome height.
I think anything you do is going to be heavily modified.
Maybe worth just building from scratch.....
