Does anyone know of a supplier selling plant based laminating resins in Australia? There are now several products available in the US and UK but I can't find anyone in Australia selling the same stuff.
These new resins replace traditional oil based polyester or epoxy with a resin that is made from 75% plant derived oil. Most are UV activated so there is less to no fumes while the resin hardens. This is good for your health.
I'm planning to build an eco friendly board using plantation timber (either laminated of recycled polystyrene or hollow), bamboo cloth and bio resin. Will probably snap first day out but renewable products are the way of the future.
