Rigs are not board specific . It depends on your skill , wind and weight .
Going to need more info.

Use what you have. I used a Tyronsea 7.5 back in the day then a Sailworks Retro. Now I use NP V8 and being twin cam would go fine

Hey there, thanks very much for posting the pamphlet of the BIC boards from 1992, that was the year that I started windsurfing and I think that the BIC boards were the first brand that I was looking over...............very sentimental.........those were the days!

Problem is that the board is about 30 years old, if not more.

Modern rigs for general use won't suit it, you really need a race board sail, tall and less twisty than a normal rig.
Sometimes see them on Seabreeze for sale.

Get an Ezzy Zephyr 7.5 (new) or a Mistral One Design 7.4 m2 (used should be a few in Vic) or an NP World Cup Racing 7.0 or 7.5m2 from 1989-1991. If not just use whatever you can get. There are many raceboard sails sitting around from this era you just have to look around and you can get them cheaply eg F2 Power Control Race from UK (1987 plus full on race design):

Here is a test of the above Bic Bamba vs competition of other brands from 1989.

Also 1990 test with next year colourful Bamba : see: issuu.com/windsurftests/docs/boards_magazine_raceboard_test_april_1990

Use any sail n rig. Its the Mastfoot connection thatll be specific.
Know anyone with a lathe, who could turn one up for you?
Think they were a Mushroom shaped thing??

The highlighted words from the intro section of the 1989 article posted above still apply today - 33 years after they were written.
These boards are still great for cruising and racing.
There were even some old school raceboards competing in the 2022 Raceboard Worlds that just finished in Hungary.

Here is my restored Tiga Race Prestige. Have sailed it but it needs new deckgrip so will get on to that this weekend. I use a Mistral One Design 7.4m2 sail on it but do have an Ezzy Lion 3 9.5 m2 which I have used also and also an NP 6.0m2 and 7.0m2 World Cup Racing 1991. I have used the Ezzy Zephyr 7.5 m2 before and that is a powerful sail for longboards and would get that if I had nothing else. I had to replace the slot flusher in this board and it was quite an effort to remove the old one, clean up the area, filler coat with resin, then sand, finish and cut one to fit the narrow slot flusher area. Used Loctite 4860 as adhesive which is what Mistral used in its factory. Tiga did not use the right glue for the first ones apparently and the slot flusher kept falling off in tests (see above). The red "gizmo" for the daggerboard with added Tiga logo was an attempt to replace the missing original blue plastic one with Bunnings off the shelf products. I have since removed it as it is unnecessary in my opinion although it might help racing it does get in the way and the solution might be to reduce its size and declutter the area. The mast track on this board is today found in similar form on the Bic Techno. Infact the Bic Techno universal works on this track which is rather handy. I believe Bic completed a takeover of Tiga sometime in the 1990s. The Tiga Aloha youth board with similar Tiga track was the inspiration for the Bic Techno youth board.

Another option is a Bic Techno 8.5 m2 sail seen being used here on a number of race boards:

Also a 6.6m2 North Prisma (longboard sail) from about 1990 for sale here with the relevant mast in Qld, cheap and suitable as all around rig workhorse: note in the 1989 article above "all testing was done on identical North Prisma 6.6m2 sails in winds ranging from 10 - 25 knots."

Also depends on what you are doing with the board??
if you already windsurf and have bought a retro board then yes get a big sail..
But if you picked up a " windsurfer" and you plan to learn then you can use any small rig- depending on bodyweight. 4.2 to 5.5 m. There are better learner boards too

A good video from Lake Silvaplana of a 1992 Bic Bamba and a 1986 9m2 Gaastra Speedfoil rigged on a 520 mast plus extension. Interesting detailed written commentary in the you tube post from a 2018 demonstration of the vintage board and even older sail. Enjoy. These older sails almost look similar to modern foiling sails, albeit this model is a RAF and does not have camber inducers.
