Its a 50 - 50 call for now..winter style hardcore frontal sailing vs -here in WA we have southbound (insane music line up this year), gerro windfest (mambo style comp in windy warm water)all on the same weekend
It'll be AWESOME!!!! I can't wait. Tassie at that time of year has really nice weather, high 20's every day and Marrawah is a world class wave spot. 25-30 knots cross off down the line heaven then go around the corner and get some of the best jumping conditions imaginable. This place is a Mecca - it's awesome that the Nationals is being organised for Tassie and sick that one of the worlds best wave sailors will be there. If you're ever going to go on a windsurfing adventure this is the time!!! Hopefully see you there!

I had the best sail ever at the "Bluff" at Marrawah a few years back.
I miss Tappos table tennis comps and his octapus.
How easy/hard will it be to get gear and stuff there.
And around about how expensive would it be if i booked now???

take your own gear! just make sure you fly Virgin. They are very generous when it comes to "sports equipement".

how easy is it to get from hobart to marrawah with all your gear and how much are you lookin at to stay in marrawah??
there is free camping in marrawah..

****! the more I think about it I wanna go. That joint at that time of the year is ****ing sick...i would love to score 'The Bluff' again like it was at the '03' Smackfest. I am looking at getting time off work and accom down there. I would love to see Siver in those conditions.
