I'll download and watch with a vaporiser tonight. (If I said that 30 yeas ago I'd make no sense)
Hold onto your hat Mr Panda it's a wild ride and not for the fainthearted.
It sits in nicely with North Shore and Thrasher as all time golden pieces of cinematic excellence.
If I recall correctly the shark attack scene has a few continuity issues, one second its blowing 20 knots and he is does a 20 foot jump off a wave. Next second he is in the water, its as flat as a pancake and there is absolutely no wind at all.
Now, now Mobydisc lets not ruin it for Mr Panda. Oh, if only I could be watching it again for the first time, and who ever heard of sharks in W.A?

about time a movie features windsurfing in it, there are heaps of movies with surfing, Great PR for the sport, and from that trailer a ****e load better than windrider! 
I think every time Nicole Kidman comes out with a new movie where she has invested another 2kg of Selly's no more gaps in her lips she should be forced to sit down and watch re runs of windrider and bmx bandits, whilst sucking on an icy cold Sunnyboy and munching on Samboy chips with a can of Tarax black label in hand!
Look forward to seeing the flick, not sure I'd pick a wave board/sail combo to escape to foreign shores, might go with a floatier option and bigger sail....I'm guessing he made it safely? He should of stuck a GPS on and gone for some sort of record! 
lucky he didn't do it in WA , as he probably would have been done for incorrect safety 400m from shore!
