So, it's that time of year......The forecast is still just hanging in, so are any of the Gustbusters keen for SP on Wednesday??

My hammy is well and truly on the mend, the Physio, Doc and Speciaist said if it doesn't hurt then do it and if it does hurt then don't do it. So on that basis, not sailing is hurting so I am going to do it! Wednesday is the day at the moment.

In addition the Gustbusters have pooled their collective resources and come up with $9.95, which is just enough to buy Easter Eggs ('tho very small ones) to give as prizes on the day....... no jelly beans, just Easter Eggs.

That's in addition to the wonderful prizes mentioned in Keefs post of the other day, i.e. signed T Shirts, Carbon Art boards etc....(all courtesy of Craig---What a Champion!!)

Any one keen?

Do you mean a trip to Sandy Point for some PB's?

It looks like Thursday, not Wednesday is going to be mildy interesting. Not in the same class as last Friday, but definitely fun if the forecast holds!

Sandy Point is a bit of a drive from here, so no, not this time.......But Sanctuary point might be worth a look. And it's only a little drive away. Come up for it- you can be back at Sandy Point for thursday id it holds!

hey tricky we know daffy is a legend but that its a big ask, sanctuary point and back in 24hrs , but daffy if your up to it your welcome , other wise make it on some green arrows at primbee and bring kato along
tricky it's great to hear your back in action and i'll be at sanctuary pt on Wednesday as long as the forcast holds
thanks too Omo for selling off some of his unwanted nail polish on ebay thanks fag'
just an update on the easter eggs , thanks to Omo we now have $23.40 in the slush fund , obviously it all cant be spent on easter eggs
craig cole has officially been offered $5 per annum to continue his contract with Red Bull , congratulations craig Red Bull is up there amongst the best

so gustbusters we have $8.50 for an Easter egg hunt on easter sunday wind or no wind , we have 22 plain mini eggs and one with a craig clole signature and another with purple nail polish , the winner will be the purple nail polish and in contention for the ca49 at the end of the year and donated by Craig Cole .
for the lucky one that finds the craig cole signature egg ,preserve it as it will be valuable in years to come
for the gustbusters that can make it for Wednesday (forcast pending) if not sunday for the easter egg hunt

tee/shirts will be ordered on the 1st week in april
so if you haven't got your order in you will miss out

Fair enough!

I have a trip to your lake on my list Keef! I just need an invite on the right forecast.

As far as I can work out there are 3 lakes being discussed here. Lake Illawarra, the lake at Sanctuary Point (Sussex Inlet??) and Woolumboola Lake.

What about a description of the sailing at each and the conditions they work best in for flat water speed.

What are the best forecasts to check and what to look for?

Also, do you use those extreme angle weed fins because the weed is extreme, or is it mainly because the water is very shallow?

EDIT: I found the write up for Primbee on sowindy.com and the photographs are excellent! Who is going to write up the other spots?

Wollumbula?? who mentioned that??

Naaahh, we only mentioned two lakes.....St georges Basin (Sanctuary Point) and Lake Illawarra (Primbee)......, then you brought Sandy Point into it (and I don't know if that's part of a lake or not)..I suspect that you're trying to confuse us all in a plot to snaffle the easter eggs.....

Either way the forecast is good (still) for Sanctuary Point, so I'm in!!! I'll be at the coffee shop at 11!! Hope to see some of you there!

Yes, sorry, it was in the other thread and Keef mentioned it.

Thanks! Sounds good!
