interesting idea....
from the 4windsurf site.....
this rig should only be used on boards with daggerboard and non-planing conditions, intended for an audience beginner, entry level. The photos in this article were made ??using single table Freeride 122 lt.
The first hurdle has always been for the Windsurfing is the weight and the effort needed to pull the sail out of the water the first few times. With the iRig will forget the effort to raise the sail. It is literally as light as a feather. The revolution of the product lies in the fact that now even small children really do not make any effort to raise the sail (we tried even with a child of 4 years !!!), not to mention the total product safety in case of impact in the falls.
Hi Aus111111. I'm not sure if you noticed but there is already a forum regarding this topic.

Comon man, not worth having 2 of the same topics. Who gives a **** if they have different titles.
Someones a little grumpy this morning, miss your coffee???
Would be keen to see a small size for kids. Nice and soft to fall onto or have fall onto you.
Anyone know how much, or if there is a small size?

I did notice that. Would you prefer it if I asked "how much" in the other thread?
Kids rigs are so light already and not that expensive, I would think that the inflatable has some advantages in bigger sizes but its hard to imagine that they are as durable as a dacron sail. Dacron sails are pretty easy to repair with a bit of tape but a bladder repair I would imagine is a little more difficult.

I like the idea for little kids. Less hard bits (boom, mast etc) to hurt themselves on. I will keep an eye out and if it's a reasonable price, would consider it for less than 10 years old.
I haven't picked one up myself but I really doubt that they are "literally light as a feather".
"Literally" literally no longer means "literally"???? WTF?
must be true, its on the internet
