Thinking about an adjustable outhaul for use with my large freerace sails.

Getting a new boom is not an option at the moment.

Has anyone tried converting a North clew end to one that has built in pullies? I see there is a NP kit that has a new clew end included and there are similar after market clew ends.
Is it worth getting a descent triple pully block instead to tie to the loop and go clew end?
Which outhaul kit did you use?

Hi Stanley,

I converted my North Silver boom backend to the NP one. The NP fitting exactly to the north end piece. Its definitely worth it sailing large freerides. You will definitely add range to the sail.

With the sail fitting you can either loop through the eyelet which some people do or use a chinook double pulley or similar.

Hope this helps
Cheers
David
