Thumbs Up

My secondhand AL360 SLIM from 2010 has a loose boomhead.
Already placed a layer of PET bottle plastic in it but it becomes loose again.
Now it's time to laminate the worn off piece on the boom tube.

Which material is best in terms of wear?
- glass fibre fabric
- carbon fibre fabric
- other like dyneema, aramide, kevlar, composite

Anyone tried some sort of bushing/plane bearing?

Don't thin (or remove) the 'washer' thing as a quick fix to tighten the boomhead. The boomhead wil crack!

The loose boom head might because the boom head is worn out. It would be easier to replace it with a new AL360 boom head to get a nice tight fit. I see you are in the Netherlands so getting hold of a replacement boom head should be easy.
