Hey all. New to these forums, long time lurker of seabreeze. I have a week free in the middle of a Greek island mission in July and want to do a solid week of kitesurfing in either/both Naxos and/or Paros.
I will be with a buddy who wants to learn. I am intermediate. We both want a place with good nightlife as well. Has anyone been there and can offer any suggestions please?

I was a windsurfing instructor on naxos for 2 seasons, so I might have a little bit of info for you...
Honestly the 95% of watersports done on the island is windsurfing. there is 3 major centres on the island. 2 are close to the town (flisvos and naxos surf) and the other one is on plaka beach (plaka-watersports). I worked at plaka-watersports. plaka beach is about 6km south of the main town but its the best place on the island in my opinion.... best beach by far....
There is one kitesurfing centre just south of plaka beach on a beach called mikri vigla. It's run and owned by the same guy that runs flivos.... I know they do kitesurfing lessons so it would be great for your friend... I'm not sure if they just hire the equipment.. I have a feeling they dont......
I cant really comment on paros stations as i've never been to any... The only time I went to Paros ws when we windsurfed there a few time....
Re. Nightlife, Naxos isnt a CRAZY party island but there are a few good places to go out.... Try the 'island bar' in agios prokopious or cedar bar on plaka...or just try all the places in the town....
