Hey guys,

just wondering if a 90litre board would be too small to continue learning on. At the moment I can beach start no problems on a massive old board and can sail in either direction. Is this going to be too small?

thanks!

Yep, too small. Unless you can waterstart, you'll something with more volume - uphauling would be tricky, and you'd be doing lots of it.

Yep, what he said.

Don't waste your time on it- you'll only get frustrated.

from the sounds of it you are probably better off on something a little bigger. if you can't waterstart yet you probably want something that you can uphaul fairly easily on. You probably want something closer to 110-120L.

And its not a waste of money cause even once you get more confident its still nice to have a 110-120L freeride board for those light wind days, or to teach your buddies that all of a sudden have become interested.

Yeah franklywindy, Swoosh is spot on the money, go for a freeride 115 to 120 from there you can progress to a 95 and smaller.

same as the rest of the dudes, to small man.
I wish I had a 90 l board now after 14 months of learning as that would be cool. it would have just sat in the shed befoer now, however my 118 l is fantastic and I can up haul an 8.0 m sail on light days.
