I have not seen it and I gather you mean a wave 360?

If so - you really need real waves. The only reason it works in the Gorge is the chop is very peaky and the current is very strong in the opposite direction to the wind. It won't work in B&J sailing anywhere else.

In proper DTL conditions you want a very fast bottom turn into a very vertical bowly section as the lip has to throw you back towards the beach when u are vertical

I was thinking the same thing. Im pretty sure they are flakas, but they are just jumping the whole 360 degrees.

Yeah OK then better ask - what kind of 360 are you talking about switch?

Really a forward loop is a 360..... as is a carve gybe 360 or a flake or a .....

usually the term 360 refers to a wave 360 - which is a bottom turn on a wave followed by a top turn that does not result in a cutback, rather it keeps going and makes a complete, well...360!

That could be a Shaka which is a Shove-it into a Flaka.

Yes

That is why they get all the way around - lot of wind and height, and the shove-it helps maintain height (gives lift) enabling the flaka to be more complete

shakas only go 180 in the air - then land hard (classic board popping move) and flat and spin the last 180 in the water..
