Just came back from the Windsurfer Worlds a few days ago. Was amazing to see so many windsurfers in one spot having a great time.

Anybody here interested in joining the LT class? It's very social & lots of fun.

Amazing footage! Thoroughly enjoyed that, including your walkaround on windsurfing.tv. Thanks Paul! Windsurfing at it's core, nice memories. Our local pond would have at least 200 boards on the water on a half decent day in the 80's nowadays none.....

Yeah just back as well. - 250+ on course for the marathon was very cool. Blasting along with that many boards is something I won't forget soon.
- Fleet quality was super high - so many big names, but honestly everyone seemed pretty fast. 51 in my category, very few easy pickings for places. - organisation was excellent. Superb venue, multiple courses running simultaneously, plenty of social fun. As dutchman says, the more the merrier, I reckon you're missing out if you don't have an LT in the quiver.

great coverage Paul!

Kinda bummed i missed the worlds. Pretty much my whole windsurfing friend group went.
I've got an LT in the quiver too. it has it's place for sure, have fished from it a couple of times as a novelty.

my son is using a wally as well which we'll look to swap out with another LT this year. we are not much of racers so cruising and old school freestyle is where we end up.

for the size, it's a lively board to sail. you don;t need speed for to have fun.

Cool vid Paul. Captured the fun. Looks fun with so many people.
They could banter, slander, laugh or shout and hear each other i guess
Do they do that? I don't have much sailing boat experience but i think they do that

Going to ride my RSone board next session i think. 3m of fun with foot-straps. Just heard about flare gybes and keen for a try at that. Backwinded riding looks cool, that freestyle stuff looks more dangerous than speed or waves.

I also liked the walk around and all the podcasts on wstv. As a pretty isolated learner, it gives me the language of it all and helps heaps.
