The notice of race for Raceboards Oceanics and Technos Oceanics has now been released - find it on the following site: iycwindsurfingevents.net.au
Note that on-line entry and payment will be available soon - via the main Downunder Pro website. I'll post here when this gets set up.

Note that raceboard follows the international class rules - 9.5m2 maximum size for men and 8.5m2 maximum sail size for women and youths. A maximum of 2 sails can be used during the regatta.
The on-line entry and payment system is now up and running. Get your entry details together and follow the links on the www.iycwindsurfingevents.net.au site or go straight to the Downunder Pro site - www.fw-australia.com/race-office/registration.
Payment is via paypal to Windsurfing NSW.
Qantas has really come to the party, mostly because they feel the event has some real momentum.
You might notice that Qantas now have a Windsurfing Baggage Policy, which is directly related to our involvement with them over the last couple of years.
We want this every to continue to flourish so sponsors like Qantas continue to see the potential of our fantastic sport.
Just quickly If you could all enter asap so we can get an idea of numbers that will help us to run a better event...
If you sail or want to sail a Formula, Race-Boards, RSX or BIC.....then it is Time to
get motivated to participate. We would love some volonteers to help us run a super slick event also...Please email me directly on brettm@gfigroup.com.au if you think you could help in some way......Merry xmas
Coupla questions:
1. I presume people wanting to do both raceboard and formula register twice, correct?
2. Weight divisions and Free Formula aren't represented on the online registration. Can this be sorted out on arrival on the 26th?
3. I've been out of formula sailing for a while so I haven't heard the term "Free Formula". I presume this is what used to be called FE+? And what's the intention of the "use any equipment" statement. Obviously not meant literally, so does this just mean relaxing the "no carbon booms etc" requirement of FE, or maybe you can use more than 2 sails (which would be handy for those of us who can't hold down a 10.0 in 30 knots!)? Or something else?
Just to add to Sean's explanation:
If you select "formula" from the Class dropdown then the Formula Division dropdown appears, from which you can select "free formula"
In a similar way if you select "raceboard" from the Class dropdown different division dropdowns appear from which you can select.
Nah - no rebates. All bad for the tardy![]()
That sounds good, some of the youth up here were asking if they could enter their RSX in the formula event as well.
