Thumbs Up

The Loft sails generally have a good mast tolerance, I'm using a 460 from 5.7 up to 7.8. My 5.7 and 6.0 are made for 430's but being a bit heavier I find the smaller sails still work well on a bigger mast. As mark said the adjustable top sails are a worth looking out for as the options are open .

I have found that my Loft 8.4 can fit on a wide range of masts (both brands and lengths), much wider than any other brand. However, the use of small masts result in rather soft leech and head areas. I've used 460's with the North Carbon Xtender, 490's (the recommended length) and am now going to try a 520 Gaastra Race. Since my 8.4 has a variable top I really think it will work. The same goes for my 9.6 which I have been rigging with the Gaastra Race. In fact, I figured a way to rig the Aerotech 11 with this same mast. 90% of my hydroplane sailing on the East coast of the U.S. can be done with these three sails, two booms and one board.
