Hi, I'm keen to give sailing in the surf a go. I'm after a couple of board recommendations. I've done plenty of flat water 10-15 knot sailing on 130-160ltr boards, but am ready to try something different. Thoughts are to get something second hand rather than to risk trashing new gear. So recommendations for anything a few years old or classics to get started on would be appreciated. I weigh in at 80kg.
thanks.

Use any 90-100L FSW in strong winds on flat water for a while to get used to the lower volume, then go out in small waves.

:)

Then step 2 is:

you are hooked and you buy a 70L wave, 80L wave, 90L quad wave, 100L FSW, then 3.2 to 6.2 wave sails, 3 masts, 2 booms..................... all the while keeping the big gear for what you used to think was good days and now u call them crap......

enjoy
