Well, it seems JP has strong foilboxes! I would like to know a little bout the crash (racing or training, I guess).
I guess that's one way to stress test a board... How on earth does that happen unintentionally??? Were they jousting???
Wind can do some interesting things.
Strolls World Cup, San Francisco, circa "86. Had over 200 sails on the beach ready to race. Mostly big, 6-8. One girl puts her 4.5 Gaastra Speed Slalom just upwind and backwards...as gusts of 25 roll thru.
At least 150 sails got uprooted, several into the water and downwind to the St.Francis Yacht Club 2 blocks downwind.
Americans know the perfect way to fix the Tabou because "that's a lot of damage!"

That is terrifying. I hope nobody got hurt ... I think am doing the right thing staying far far far away from foils with my slapper!
Reminds me of an accident I saw yesterday, two black pickup trucks collided because neither would yield the right of way to the other.

Fins hurt like a mutha, too. Besides, in this pic, it's the board noses that were the ankle snappers. The foils were just slicing a big piece of styro.
