So, after a few months of use now do we have updates on the Wizard 114 in relation to:
1. Footstrap positions for swell riding
2. Foil positions for different wing sizes
3. Either of the above for wing foiling.
I'm loving my 114.
Straps: front inboard windfoil, no rear strap
Mast: i76 on 4.5 and i65 on 2
Mast base: rear for flatter conditions and mid for swell
I could do with some advice on setup with the i76 for larger swell. Great foil wing for lighter wind but I find on my normal settings it's a real handful when you turn onto waves as it just wants to lift out. I've put the sail mast foot forward but still can't get enough weight on the nose. Always change to the i65 for more control and ripping ability ... but you also need a bit more breeze.
I'll be interested in any experience on:
1. Using the forward wing foil front strap positions for windfoiling in swell - Does it work (may be good for i76 - see my note above)
2. Winging setup with the i76
Only wish these Wizards had a handle to help get the board in and out of the water with a wing. Otherwise they seem perfect.
AB, I'm loving my 114
Front straps outboard with a centre rear, only use the rear in waves

5.5 with the Infinity 76 using the quick mount plate shown in photo
4 for the 65
Mast all the way back on the deck to keep things loose
Definitely need to shift your weight forward when turning onto swells, the more you do it the more comfortable you become

I did a quick measure and that looks pretty similar to my foil mast positions? ... just wish my skills were similar
.. I'll keep up the practice.
Have you tried the inboard front strap positions at all? Just wondering why you prefer outboard straps. And have you tried winging on the 114?
I had the w114 for a bit, windfoiling only, from what I remember I used the very front windsurf inboard straps and and sail universal nearly at the rear of the track with i76 all the way forward. Same strap and universal settings for i99 all the way back.
I too wondered about using the winging strap inserts for windfoiling, but I am not sure they would work for me as I would need to move the universal back to offset the shifting of my bodyweight forwards (universal was nearly at back of track as it is).
Regarding swell, I had one session where the swell was well over head high and I wished I had my freestyle instead. However, there have been more times when it gets light and I am on my freestyle and I wish I had that wide tail of the w114.

Only tried outboard front straps. Mounted them there because that's where they were on my Wizard 105, which had no option, and I feel thats where they would give me the most control.
Haven't tried winging, I really enjoy windfoiling and feel my local conditions are better suited to windfoiling.
