Nice If that was our mid winter I would be in heaven. Those 5.0 tricera seem to be working quit well in that wind,5.0 and the 76 is fast becoming my fav.combo.
Nice vid JJ
KDog, I agree the 5.0 and 76 is a great combo
5.0 probably covers the biggest wind range of all the sizes then pair it with the 76 and it's a great combo
The 76 has a good top speed as well as a low stall speed, perfect for the clean swell and lightish wind we had in the video

That's an interesting technique for walking out of the shore break at the end. Looks like you're holding the fuselage and keeping the board at an angle so that you can hold the sail out of the water. I'm going to have to try that.
I thought it might be helpful for some. ![]()
You're correct - flip the board on its side, grab the fuselage near the rear wing and fly the sail holding the mast.
Very secure stance to brace against waves.
Works great if you have enough wind in the shorebreak to fly the sail.
Push the board up the sand on the rail - I've reinforced the rail at the impact spot.
Thanks for the shore break footage! I am gonna try that technique.
Just did. Brilliant. Rode the rail right up the beach and half way to the carpark.
Probably works in reverse for launching as well?
