Hi Foilers,

As the thread alludes I am in search of a Deep Tuttle Box?

Why? Well I hit some shallow water (water was mucky) and my deep Tuttle box blew apart. Board brand name withheld.

Any links of where too purchase or direction of who sells is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Forgive the spelling. Their English is better than our French. Great product. Good people to deal with.

I've got hundreds of hours on my gear. Ride it every day. Jump it all the time.

I bought a deep tuttle box from www.Seatexboards.com from Italy. The guy there was very helpful and had it shipped the next day. I installed it on my old Starboard Free formula as the non foiling box was getting soft from foil use. The stiffness of the new box was amazing!

I little vid of the installation.

SHQ (and prob any NP dealer) sell the NP foil box. Not sure how long the wait on delivery is.

Mojo Custom in Hungary make one. Whether shipping to Australia is a viable option is beyond my knowledge though.

I too use my starboard formula to foil. I have not expericenced it getting soft yet. How long did you use your board before it stated to show weakness? Did the foil box make the board much heavier. The repair looks like a lot of work! Did you have to buy that vacuum or rent?

I am sure it is a bit heavier. I noticed right from first run the old box and the flex, it's not huge, but when I rode a few boards with foil boxes it was obvious. Over time though the mast was compressing into the box and I figured best to replace. I just took a vacuum pump out of an old fridge.
