Guess it should be named SWF (swell wind foiling on this day) winds started a little on the lighter side but I still rigged the 4.0 in anticipation of the afternoon winds kicking in (which it did over 30+). The waves were not that clean this day they would build up out on the horizon but crumble off quickly after I'd gybe onto them.
I did catch one very nice head high lump that allowed me to ride into the middle of the bay and reconnect with the inside ledge, it was a great feeling and adrenaline rush just to glide all that distance on swell energy alone.
Foiling has allowed this area to turn into a mecca for all watersports, you can spend all day in the flat safety of the bay if you are still working on your wind foil gybes and when you are ready head out past the jetty into a deep water channel and ride some great swells.
I have made the trip 3-4 times now to Fort Pierce, FL after watching a video of wingers naming it the #1 beach for foiling (at least on the east coast if not the U.S. many factors go into that claim I must add).
I have not seen any wind foilers other than myself!....there is a core group of kiters, 1-2 windsurfers and 20+ wingers. So if anyone is around that area on a good North wind, come and join me
I do wing there as well and if you are into boostin big air Jetty Park will tick that box for sure!
I enjoy your videos, thanks for making and posting them.
I'm new to Slingshot gear, just got a Wizard 130, a Phantasm lower 926/872 and a Carbon 103W mast (I've been on F4 race gear since 2017). Would appreciate your recommendations for positioning the foil mast and the mast base. I've had one session and moved the foil mast as far back as I could in the tracks. The front foot straps are inside, and all the way forward. It's still very front foot. Next session will move the mast base further forward, currently 118 cm from the tail.
Thank you
Big group of wingers from Miami went couple of weeks ago there, claiming some really nice wave conditions, next time if it falls on Saturday, myself and couple of other windfoilers might join in for some ft. Pierce waves. This weekend Virginia Key looks good though, hoping for some waves to introduce my new board to them and see how they interact with each other.

Cheers BluntWhite for the feedback, much appreciated.
I was using NP/F4 in 2017/18 as well before switching over to Slingshot. The bigger sails and heavier rigs were not good for my lower back and now my biggest sail size I use is a 5.0 with the Wizard 130/PTM926. I also prefer the free-foiling stance especially when hunting down the swells....
I use the standard 92cm phantasm mast not the phantasm wide mast and from my understanding the mast base head is larger so my foil mast track positioning will be different (maybe JJ or Simon can chime in as they use the 103W mast).
- For both the PTM926 and PFI730 I set the very back of the foil mast base to 1.5 in the twin tracks
- My front straps are middle hole and mast base UJ is here in the pics

Awesome it would be great to wind foil with you guys...make sure its a really good North wind, which from my understanding we may have to get lucky with summer just around the corner. It is a great location and well worth the drive time ![]()

BluntWhite,
Great choice of board and foil combo, think you will love it.
Im on the Wizard 114 with the 926 and wide body 103. I run my front straps forward and outboard, UJ all the way back. Foil as shown in the photo, M8 bolts in second holes from front and pushed all the way forward in the tracks.
Would probably advise starting with the foil mounted at the back of the tracks then move it forwards as you get used to the lift

Nice going Dean
Epic foil-park, lumps of energy all over the place.

I have the Wizard 130L and the PFI 730 and PTM 926
I set the PFI 730 at #1 (very back of the mast in line with the mark in the tracks)
I set the PTM926 to #2
For sails 5.5 and smaller I put the mast base almost in line or slightly forward of the WIZARD 130 print on the board
For my 5.9 and 7.0 I put it about an inch or so further forward from there.
Have fun! Great setup! I just got Goya Cyphers and they are a great match!
