I'm 75 kg and using a Slingshot Wizard 125 liter with the 4 Infinity foils.
I plan to upgrade by the Hover Glide mast connector to the Phantasm fuselage.
I doubt between PTM926 and G900.
I've been looking around on this website but didn't find direct comparisons.
What are the differences between these 2 front foils ? Pro and con. Or are these foils very close. The PTM926 a litte bit higher aspect.
Maybe later I get an additional Sabfoil 1100 or 1250 for the low wind moments : 10 - 12 knots, instead of Infinity 84 cm or 99 cm.
Any thoughts or advise ?
Thank you.
I like the 926 a lot and use it as my main freeride foil. Haven't used the g900.
With either though, you should be able to also swap the tails from the 400 (more straight) to the 360 (vee) or 340 (turbo, more slippery). They will change the feel of your setup quite a bit, so consider that after you get used to the 400.
I really like the vee tail with the 926, especially when waves are involved as it is more sensitive to pitch control. It still takes off with less power than the infinity 76, but I think I've topped out at around 18knots boardspeed.
I doubt you will be able to tell the difference between the ptm926 and g900.
926 is a little free-er, and the 900 a bit more settled, but the difference is very subtle.
Both are decent light wind foils.

The PTM926 & G900 are very similar. They are both medium aspect and will have more glide than the i84 & 99. I have the 926, it's a solid foil, but I much prefer the PTM899 which although smaller in area (925 mm2 compared to 1260mm2) has a higher aspect and such is faster, more agile and points to windward better. I can get it flying in 10 to 12 kts with a 5.3 wave sail on a Predator 110. I weigh 85 to 90 kgs. I'm waiting for some wind so I can trial a PTM999 I've borrowed.
899 is my daily driver. Definitely more dynamic than the 926. 926 is my choice when it is too light for the 899
To all.
Thanks, this is very useful to me.
So :
PTM926 is a medium aspect foil : 7
a big improvement over the Infinity 76 cm
I wont need be bigger foil
But perhaps I will need a smaller one
Using instead of the 400 stabilizer a second one, the vee 360 can make the setup more playful
PTM899 and 999 are even faster and more high aspect : 8 to 9
But perhaps coming from a very low aspect foil as the Infinity 76 cm : 3, the step to 8 or 9 could be big, and maybe it is better for me to start with the PTM926
One more thing : what about the PFI730 ?
Or would I better quit the low aspect foils and head for the higher aspects to upgrade ?
The PFI730 felt very similar to the 76. I got one with my freestyle deal, used it a couple times, then stick to the ptm926. I personally don't see the point of pfi730 vs. 76 but some people do like more speed on the windier days with the 76. The ptm926 glides a lot more in the jibes. If I was a better wave rider I might have an opinion between the pfi730 vs ptm926 but I'm stoked to get some swell driven glides with the vee tail/926 setup.
