Just wondering if anyone has used tuttle to dual track adapter. Does it work? Ie is it not loose or does not cause too much resistance?etc
Would such adapter be strong enough for windsurfing?
I have Naish Hoover and wanted to try carbon foils but there doesn't seem to be dual track ones for windsurfing.

Should you be more specific as to manufacturers you are interested in?
Parts are not universally compatible between companies.
Most foil companies offering dual track also offer a tuttle, m or deep, option.
Powerplate allows dual track to work with tuttle and power.

I guess you are trying to install a deep tuttle one piece carbon foil to your dual track board.
Gotta align the coe of the front wing to between your feet.
Then, what to do with the tuttle head atop your mast?
I'm sure you can cut it off, install a strong plate, glass it overkill, and 4 bolt onto your board.
Or spend 150 to have a board builder install a deep tuttle box....which might need to be cut down to medium tuttle because your board might be too thin.

I had a Gofoil Tuttle mount into an after market aluminium adaptor. I was forever shimming it because it would get loose. In the end I permanently bonded the adaptor to the Tuttle head with my favourite epoxy - JB marine weld. I used this set up for wing dinging for 7-8 months before selling it, it was still rock solid at time of selling.

Thanks. Basically I was thinking of using AFS foil with Naish Hoover board

Would Moses adapter be compatible with AFS deep tuttle?

I'm not sure, you have to contact Moses or dealer who sells Moses parts for that.

It was asked: "Would Moses adapter be compatible with AFS deep tuttle?" 99% chance the answer is yes since the Moses deep tuttle foils have a really tall outline just like the AFS ones do. I'm pretty sure Sailworks would know since they sold a lot of AFS foils, and now sell the Moses adapter (and Moses foils).

I windfoiled with a Chinook Powerplate for 1.5 years probably 40+ sessions, it was great, they run about $150USD. I have also had tracks added on to another board where a Powerplate wouldn't move the foil forwards enough, it came to about $400AUD.

Are there comparable products to the Chinook Powerplate?
I'd like to use my coming platemast carbonfoil (SS Phantasm 926) with a DT-boxed windfoil board
