Lets just say I'm thinking about foiling,
Im heavy and curious,
Should I rip out the finbox on my old trusty light wind board and reinsert with half a metre glass and half kilo resin , just in case , it's not like I'm thinking about kiting

Don't be scared, go for it big fella. It is what all the windsurfers are doing now and is the new natural progression and future of windsurfing, don't get left behind in the times.

The days of waiting for 30+knots to get up and moving are now over, foiling has finally open up a completely new element of windsurfing that hopefully will help stop its massive decline and help make it "seem" cool again like in the 80's and attract young people into the hobby . Foiling is the future of poledancing. Get out there and be part of windsurfings new progression.

Just look at this forum...the most active topics are about foiling.
Good luck with your foiling progression dude.

Lotof...$#@$

Please note. Sailboarding had been successful since the 1960's. In various disciplines with worldwide participation and has been in the Olympic Games since 1988.

Your banter, whilst mostly humorous, fails to acknowledge that Sailboarding has been embracing development since day 1.

To encourage a highly buoyant feline to foil is sincerely commendable.

Perhaps, you may wish to participate in a sport that provides growth through improvement of skills? If not, I'm confident your keyboard will remain your friend. Most importantly of all, remain positive and keep trying. There IS hope for us all somewhere in life.

^^^^^I gave you lots of green thumbs, even though you don't embrace the new foiling craze that is moving your hobby forwards after a long stagnant period.

Lots of green thumbs? Last time I checked, once you give one post on Seabreeze a green thumb, the next press of the thumb makes it go down one. Thus five presses of green thumbs equals one thumb up.

I gave you a thumb up because you deserve one for persistence.

Are you sure, you know my interest in foiling lotof?

Don't worry, most people do support all forms of foiling, Moth, Waszp, Cats, Kitefoil, Windfoil, SUP foil and Surf foil.

Windfoil is new'ish (Rush Randle and A2 foiling for almost 20 years), yes and if it keeps as many people on the water and having fun, then it's worth ever cent. Enjoy and get on the water.
