So I got my new starboard E 1300 late last week, after making a few changes and a spacer to fit to my Super cruiser fues I took it for a blast on Sunday. Wind was 17 to 20 gusting up to 22 from the SE on Sydney harbour. Started off with the razr 250 tail set at neutral. In hindsight I was over rigged (7.2) first outing was a little sketchy, not enough lift on the on the tail stabiliser and very loose on directional stability. The razr250 is very flat, very thin and very small.
After 20 minutes of sailing I came in and changed to the standard SC 370 tail to see if I could get grip on the E 1300. The bigger tail made a huge difference! very easy to sail and stable but much slower. The wind kicked in so I headed in and changed down to a 5.7, way more comfortable and lots of fun to be able to surf small swell and chop. Its only early days but this foil has loads of lift and is awesome in the turns.

What changes did you have to make for it to fit super cruiser fuselage? Did you make the spacer yourself and was it necessary or just to fill the gap ( assuming here that wing just fits in front position) . Was waiting for x1100 wing as an option but this is now also a consideration.
Gday, I had two options to make it fit. Cut down the front of the SC fuse but that's a one way ticket! Or try it in the "front position" and make a spacer. I thought I'd try it in the front position first to see what is was like and go from there. I made the spacer using the SC fuse as a mandrel, wrapped carbon around it and cut/ sanded it to fit. Was an easy job and turned out well.
As for the front position, I'm not sure it's the right way to go yet, more testing before I make the call to chop the fuse down! It wasn't much fun with the razr250 tail, think I needed more AOA but it was very skatie and wanted to spin out when I loaded to back foot up.
