Anybody got one for sale? I cant find one anywhere, so I'm asking if anyone has upgraded to IQ foil or the new race kit and might want to sell their old one. :)

He's hard enough to catch already. Don't give him ideas.

Just message him asking to sell the mast separately. He loves that

He's finally managed to get one.

Since you're all here, whats the easiest/quickest method to cut through a piece of carbon, round about 15mm at its thickest point, bout 15cm wide? Reciprocating saw? Hacksaw?

Gonna be in a bit of a hurry when i do it, so quickest method is best. Not really worried about cutting straight...

Be careful - cutting carbon is know to be hazardous. The dust is the problem, you get these fine particles that may cause bad troubles later on.

I have two methods cutting carbon, either I cut the carbon immersed in water (in winter when I cant go outside) - or outside if possible wearing a fine particle mask - wind in my back.

in that context (quickest is best), then diamond tipped hacksaw blade, same as Rob Rock uses for mast repairs.

If need perfect finish, but a new part.

And protect yourself from dust as Carvstar advises.

Err, yes. I'll be sure to wear my dust mask. Lucky we're in the middle of co-vid. Nothing suspicious going on here... carry on de-rigging...

I think a thermal lance would be quick and avoid the dust issues.
