Ever wonder how some people can stand still on their foil while you are constantly moving the sail back and forth just to try and keep the nose down and not fall in?
I used to foil without a harness because I needed to move my sail so much that the harness lines were too short. But with time on the water, I learned to find the balance points and shift my weight or pressure more subtlety around.
Now I rely on the harness, and when in control find I only need to move a few cm (or even just change static pressure without actually moving).
I decided to share a video in which I try to explain every muscle movement during a fairly nice 8-14knot sail. I hope it helps!![]()
