One or more electrical, mechanical thing to go wrong, add cost, add mass, add maintenance. Plus the process and challenge of learning to control the foil is one of the aspects that attracted me to windsurf foiling.
Maybe a training aid to accelerate progression. But to rely on some form of stabilization system is not for me.
I get it OldGuy3! And its not for me, yet.
This type of solution is coming, it's only a mater of time. A LOT of folks that now foil said similar things about fixed foils a handful of years ago.
I love being in control of the foil as well! I look forward to when this type of gear will take what I have learned about foil control to the next level.
I have seen what flight control has done to sailing boats, it's epic!
Now that's clever design! I haven't tried an e-foil myself but different people have told me that the faster you go the more pressure you need to put on the front of the board. This not only solves that problem, but makes e-foils much easier to learn on. Even the dog in their video can ride an e-foil.
I'm not about to look for one of these for my windfoil board but it's great to see the technology being advanced.

Epic ?
Some time ago I did a lot of rc model flying and had a plane with stabilizer. This feature was technical interesting but killed the flying fun. After a while I disabled the stabilizer function.
