A while back a few people mentioned they would be interested to know what the 90L SS Wizard is like for slogging when I bought one. I just had my first session on it today. It slogs pretty well. I'm 80kg, was out using a 3.3, and it stayed afloat while slogging in around 13knts no problem. Found it a bit tricky at times (slogging) , wind was off shore on the lake and gusty but on whole got the hang of slogging it pretty quick. Up hauling's a different story though. At 80 kg the Board sinks as soon as i stand on it and it has tendency to want to nose dive when grabbing your boom. So Up hauling it at the moment sux so just water starting. But foiling it is nice !

Don't know what this guy weighs, but he's got a technique that works.

I tried that. Couldn't do it. Mabey with a smaller lighter sail.
My wing board is 90L, so easy to get up when you have no rig pressure on the board and a wing giving you lift
I would love to have a 90L wind foil board but it would be an absolute luxury piece of kit!

Even with rig pressure on the board it's amazing how easily it pops up out of the water. You can just about be stationary. I'm gonna get a wind wing for light wind too. I've been told a 5m will do the job with my HA 1400 on either SS Wizards 105L or 90L. I weigh 80kg.
I highly recommend getting a 90L wind foil board. They're pretty dam sweet.
