Just picked up a new wing for my Slingshot foil. I've been using the H2 wing (now called the Gamma) for a couple of months now and I wanted something for stronger wind. I've only ever used the H2 so i can only compare the Warp Speed (used to be called the H3) to this. You need a little bit more board speed to pop it up on the foil (the H2 doesn't need any really) but when you're up the first thing you notice is the smooth turning. It was gusting over 20knts on a SE on the swan with a 7.8m up and I would have been struggling with the H2. The Warp speed was definately quicker and way more controllable at speed, maybe not as much lift when going off the breeze in the big lulls as the H2 but all round I'm stoked with it. Still need the grunt of the H2 for 10knt days but I'll be going for this wing in gusty conditions over 14knts.
See Jesper at Sail Repairs WA to get one, they are awesome ![]()
Great write up Whitey76.
tell me in your opinion, how would the warp speed wing go with some accessories? I was thinking like a sea anchor on either side of the wing?
asking for a friend. ![]()

Ha ha, I'm still not that much quicker on it yet mate. I think the wing will do it, just a lack of commitment from the driver
