Hey guys

I got into windfoiling and my setup is a starboard foil x with a simmer carbon foil with a 1600 front wing.
When i cruise upright i have my back foot in front of the rear straps. but then i have to put a lot of pressure on my back foot so that the foil stays in flight. otherwise i have to put the back foot all the way back which gives me more of a lean out stance...
i put the rear stab on max lift and the mastfoot all the way back. the front straps are in the middle.

as i'm still learning it could also be a technique problem. but if i would change the front wing to my smaller wing (1250 carver), as this one does not have that much lift would it make my problem even bigger? what would you suggest..

I used the foilx 145 for a while with infinity 76 then ptm 926 with the jack plate, and had to l move it quite a bit forward. I spent a lot of time without rear straps on the 76 because I just went direct tuttle to tuttle vs trackmount and jack plate on 926.

Hard to get the balance right with mismatched gear and tuttle unfortunately, and getting it further forward helped my jibes tremendously.
I haven't touched it since getting the freestyle 115 and moving the foil even further forward.

Try it without the back straps. Sounds like you aren't that far off if you are currently sailing with the back foot in front of the straps. That's where I sail when I have more than enough lift and need to keep the nose down.
