I use the Sabfoil K93 mast for foiling in all conditions, and I've been considering buying the Red Devil 115 mast for a while now to use on swells or big choppy water.
Has anyone tried it in those conditions and can give me their opinion?
Is it worth the investment?

If I were to upgrade from my K93 it would be my choice. Do not jump with it though was advise I was given.....

Long foil masts are a double edge sword. The additional security in large waves is great. However you need much deeper water to launch. I use a 103, which seems to be a good compromise. I think Greg Glazier uses a 130 to great effect

I think, like many of us, Greg Glazier is a huge inspiration, and that's why I've been meaning to try a longer mast than the usual 95cm-100cm for a while.
Slingshot produced the 125L Skyscraper masts, but they're no longer an option for me since I have all the Sabfoil gear with the Kraken system, which allows me to quickly change foils (I now have four complete foils ).
I started foiling with the first Neil Pryde Glide with a 70cm mast, then I moved up to the 80cm mast and I already noticed the difference with those extra 10cm. But the biggest difference came when I switched to the Mosses foil (now Sabfoil) with a 95cm mast; that was a radical change in every way. And as you say, the first thing I noticed was that I needed a lot deeper water to launch.
That was only 15cm longer. Now, with that extra 20cm, I'll have to swim for a while.
It's always something I think about when I watch any Greg Glazier and Emily Ridgway video.
