In order to not derail Azymuth"s westerly swell thread and Simon's awesome riding thought it best to start another thread
Krul1973 have been on starboard superflyer/ freeride for the last 18 months whilst I am at best advanced intermediate in comparison to others here. The 93/899 has blown me away. After 2 sessions no longer need to take my foot from back strap to control lift along with a considerable increase in speed and breach recovery, this foil loves to be pushed. Pitch control is night and day!!
Do yourself a favour and get one

Thanks for making a new thread and answering my questions! Good to hear you are really happy with your new set! I am foiling with the Moses 85 and 720 and 799 Balz for a couple of years now. I am still really happy with this setup! The quicklock for my tuttle connection of Severne Predator 110 would be really practical in combination with the stronger fuse/ mast connection.
Do you have the quicklock system? A friend of mine is also using the Kraken mast and prefers the old mast because it's made out of one piece.

g'day Mr Keen ,
is the 899 you are mentionning the medusa wing ?

@Krul, I've been using the kraken quick release for quite a while now and would never look back.
The new mast is also one piece LOL, except it connects to the tuttle head instead of the board. and is much stiffer and a tad thinner

Yes Krul1973 using the quick lock system, got this as I also purchased wizard 90 with tracks. Have the carbon plate for this board. So quick and easy to swap between my FoilX125 with tuttle. Can't wait to use the wizard on windier days... setting up with just 3 bolts is very convenient. A mate who loves to poke and wobble anyone's new gear reckons the set-up is the stiffest he has seen.
Yes Sean, it's the Medusa with 430 stab. Also grabbed the 940 Onda for windier lumpier swell riding.

Thanks for the feedback Sean and Mr Keen!
That ease of use and stiffness sounds very nice. No problems with sand etc in the tuttle or track connection before putting the mast in?

not over here, I put it together on the grass, and remove the mast in the rinsing area after a good wash down.
Don't think sand would be an issue as it would go to the bottom of the connection where there is ample room for it !

Had the first session today on my new 93/940 and 425 rear wing. Good wind in Nova Scotia Canada. Started on a 5 and down to 3.9. My old foil is a Fanatic Flow 1000. Speed and upwind capability seem similar. The best thing is much better downwind carving with fewer touchdowns. Plus about 3 pounds lighter than Fanatic.
