I have noticed my foil/mast is not fixed firmly in the mast plate despite the screws are tight and thought this was normal. However, I decided to search the web and see anyone else complained. I found the following information on a kite site and I will try to fix based on their guidance. I felt that despite it is said that wobbling is not a problem, I am feeling differently and wonder if anyone else had this issue with Slingshot mast base for track based boards?

Just check that the bolts are not bottoming out.

With them done up tight it should not rattle in the hand (maybe under load)

Like the picture shws, carefully run a layer of aluminum tape around the top of the mast and carefully insert to avoid bunching. This type of shim has stopped the wobbling for me.

When I put a round of clear tape on the mast, wobbling stopped.
