I am using the Veloce 144 gts, never had Problem , started last year foiling ,Board is made of PVC, noch Problem with cuts and scratches, good for beginners,
This photo was taken in Vienna my Home at the New Danube , riding my Veloce with NP V8 Flight 5.0 and Fanatic/Duotone Aero Free 2400/300 foil. This foil normaly for winging but works also well with foiling. This Day we had 4 to 5 bft.

I have the same Aeon settup as you have ordered and use it with a Patrick foil comp V2 91. As im a bit heavier the larger board is good and for the light winds, but if you are lighter, go with the 85 as it will be better when the wind picks up. Patrick boards are very solid in my opinion and the curent one is holding up very well.

I can also confirm that FMX makes great boards. A couple of my budys are very happy with them.

I cannot recomend the Taboo line of boards as my deck delaminated in one season. Starboard also has many quality problems. (friend had a coplete delamination of the mast track after not even a ful season).

Cannot coment on other brands, but generally the shapes are very good with most brands, so the construction quality is more important.

I had 2x FMX and they were both great. phantom i got 2nd hand and it has been a solid workhorse. Patrik 100 v2 was hard to pump but worked well in the air. friends love their Duotone as well.
oh and F4 now Make slalom foil boards.
