PWA split course & slalom foiling

So the pwa are unifying fin & foil slalom (always thought super G would be a better description). Course racing is to be separate with a 100cm limit. Treading on formula foils toes?

To be fully competitive,... 5 boards, 7 (10?) sails, 2 foils, x fins, masts, booms,... that is quite the quiver to travel with.

including 2 quite wide foil boards...

Yep, rather them than me carting that lot.

I also think it's not great for the sport to have 2 'world champions' for 100cm windfoiling (PWA, formula foil, and IFCA adding to confusion -guess they will up from 91cm as boards change). Could end up like boxing.

If foiling is the future, as is the case for the top end, expect many varieties and expect racers to spend loads finding the fastest.
