Thumbs Up

I'm 80kg. 180cm height. Advanced windsurfer. Never foiled.

so wing surfing.
just bought the wing (kite)
now...thinking I will only need a floater Board for a few days...max a month.
Heres the problem...I won't have anybody to sell the floater to.
cash enough to only buy 1 board. So thinking an 80litre is what I end up on
(I'm advanced snowboarder, so yeah go small)

so, the foil will be interchangeable parts, big front wing to learn, small front wing when pro..right?
(I just picked up the duotone 5m echo from sam there in Collaroy)

What kind of ****ty floater board should I try to get? old windsurf and chop/shape it?
this I'm thinking a throwaway, and repair jobs here by Boat locals come cheap as chips.

Thoughts?..
Cheers,

ps edit.
since writing this, I can get my hands on an OLD 151 Ltr starboard go, and an old 141 ltr starboard futura.
could the GO be chopped and reshaped nearer to the centre fin insert? simply insert foil (for testing/mount the foil?)
