Got some testing to do now against the PTM926 which has been an absolute beast for wind and wing foiling. I have probably spent 75% of my foiling on the 926 in the past year. The 926 will now be part of the phantasm G series wings moving forward.
new front wings to test
1. PTM930 - much more higher aspect than 926 the 930 area is 950cm and aspect ratio 9.10.
2. PFI684 - hoping this will be a nice high wind and controllable wing in super rough conditions.
waiting on the PTM825 which by all accounts is also a higher wind and high aspect front wing that gives you serious zoom zoom and carve-ability.

Nice Dean - interested in whether you feel much difference between the 926 and 930.
Tested the 684 - fast considering it's shape and fun but similar in performance to my cutdown 926 so I passed.
Can't wait to hear how you find the PTM 825 ![]()

Same. The 930 looks a lot faster than the 926. Wondering how it compares to the SB 900
Now that we have some numbers to go by indeed the PTM are going to be fast and I was surprised by the lower sq. cm area of the 930 that 825 will probably be a bit twitchy for most folks? What I would like to see is the specs. on the G800 and what the thickness profile looks like if its just a little slower than the PTM that could be the foil to have in wave or big swell.

I actually got the 684 a while back but wanted to test in over 20 mph, may have to wait a bit longer for some north winds. Im wondering though if the ptm825 will check that box, I have one place in mind to test both of them and it will be in decent WWF conditions.
the overall feedback I've heard on the ptm930 is it's definitely a glider, bit more work to pump up but your rewarded with speed and glide ![]()

I'll see what I can find on the G series specs.

Agree 100% KDog. Dean, let us know if you get hold of a G800. Could be just the foil for powered up wave and swell riding
is the 930 cambered or pretty flat?
I am waiting for a HA flat wing for my sabfoil for prone foiling...

Nice looking wings. Sucks how covid really stalled phantasm launch glad things are starting to roll out
Very tidy work bench too :)
Has a camber Has anhedral tips.
ftfy. Camber is a front to back characteristic. ![]()

LOL....that's why I stay out of any and all engineering threads.... way above my pay grade ![]()
I agree Roland, the covid really messed things up but very happy to see the new gear rolling out, I will have plenty to test and will make plenty of videos and reviews etc.
thank you coreas! that was exactly what i want to know! is it more or less "cambered" than the ptm926?
